Establishment of RM150 Million Crewstone Bradbury Penjana Fund

In May 2021, Bradbury Asset Management (Hong Kong) Ltd committed RM150 million to launch the Crewstone Bradbury Penjana Fund, in partnership with Crewstone International Sdn Bhd.

The fund is structured under the Dana Penjana Nasional, a sovereign matching fund-of-funds initiative established by the Ministry of Finance Malaysia and managed by Penjana Kapital. The programme is designed to co-invest alongside institutional private capital to stimulate the local and regional economy.

Dana Penjana Nasional’s first close raised RM850 million—more than 3.7 times its original target—with over 55%, or RM433 million, contributed by foreign investors, including Bradbury. The fund reflects continued international confidence in Malaysia’s venture ecosystem.

Capital from the Crewstone Bradbury Penjana Fund is mandated for deployment into technology-driven companies and high-growth venture ecosystems within Malaysia and the broader Southeast Asian market. The commitment reflects Bradbury's strategy of participating in state-backed financial frameworks to drive regulated capital allocation.
